Where Denmark
Host The Youth Town & ASP partner schools
This film follows four South African students from a township near Cape Town – before, during, and after a Global Camp in Denmark – hosted by the Danish network of UNESCO SDG Schools. 52 students and teachers from Denmark, Ghana, Lebanon, Serbia, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, and US Virgin Islands met one week in October 2019 to share views and experience about the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals – and to develop partnerships between their schools.
In November 2019 students from Ghana, Lebanon, Denmark, Serbia, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, and the USVI were gathered to attend a Global Camp organized by the UNESCO ASP-network. The students spend three days in Copenhagen and two days out with their partner schools in different cities around Denmark to work with the SDGs. This podcast consists of some of the thoughts the students had during Global Camp. More information can be found on unesco-asp.dk/english.
